Seven sides travelled to the west side over the holiday weekend for the PacNW Winter Classic and performed well in the event with four teams advancing to the semifinals of their brackets, including a championship for the G2005 Rave.

The G05 ladies dominated the G05 Premier bracket with five shutout performances. After a scoreless draw against Eastside FC Red in the opener, they went on to outscore the opposition 13-0 in the other two group matches, semifinal and championship, a 3-0 victory over host PacNW Maroon.

Two other sides advanced their respective finals. The G2003 Rave swept their group and edged out FWFC 1-0 in the semifinals before falling in a shootout tiebreaker in the championship after a 2-2 draw. The lone boys side at the event, the B2002 RCL team blanked all three group opponents 6-0 on aggregate and advanced to the final with a 2-1 victory.

In USYS National League matches the G01/02 ladies picked up a pair of victories on the weekend as well, downing CFC Zenith 2-1 and Eastside Timbers Liverpool 2-0. The results wrapped up the NW Conference slate with a perfect 6-0-0 record.

The G04 Shale ladies advanced to the semifinals of their bracket with three shutout performances in group play before being knocked out in the semifinals. The G03 and G05 Shale teams also played well at the event. The G03s were 1-1-1 in three close-fought contests that saw them finish with an aggregate score of 3-2 against the opposition. The 05s were also involved in three tight affairs, that saw them go 1-2-0 with both losses coming by one goal.

Overall the seven teams were a combined 15-4-4.
