Three standout players were honored by the Women’s Premier Soccer League for their outstanding performances during the 2019 campaign. AJ Crooks, Grace Hancock and Megan Lindsay were named to the Northwest All-Conference selections.

Goalkeeper AJ Crooks and defender Grace Hancock helped guide the team to a 5-3-0 season in which the Shadow allowed only 11 goals on the campaign. Both, surprisingly, played in goal this season for the Shadow. Crooks posted a 1.00 GAA over the course of 360 minutes in five games. Hancock, who played in six total matches, also saw time in goal as an emergency keeper, allowing just one goal in 68 minutes of action in two matches and was honored with the Save of the Week earlier this season. Crooks, headed back to Alabama for her freshman season this fall, is a long-time standout in the club and for Central Valley High School. Hancock is coming off of an excellent career at Washington State University.

Megan Lindsay led the team’s 24-goal offensive performance that saw the Shadow finish one goal shy of the Northwest Conference leaders. She tallied four goals and four assists while playing in all eight matches. The Seattle Pacific University grad is a Spokane native with experience playing professionally abroad.
