The Spokane Shadow are excited to announce that Kevin Schenk will be joining the club’s coaching staff beginning with the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The women’s goalkeeper coach at Gonzaga University will focus on working with the younger keepers in the club in coordination with Bryan Hernandez.

“I am thrilled to bring on Kevin to work with the goalkeepers this season. We will be collaborating extensively throughout the year to make sure our goalkeepers are not only getting quality coaching from him but also making the goalkeeper melting pot more extensive and richer with support from Kevin and I.”

Schenk brings a lengthy coaching resume with him to the program previously serving on the staffs at Marshall University and Indiana University. In addition to his two-year stint at Indiana, Schenk has served as a head coach and assistant coach at various high school, club and ODP levels for seven years. As a player he made two NCAA Tournament appearances at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

“I am very excited to be joining Spokane Shadow and working with the goalkeepers,” said Schenk. “The club has a great tradition of developing great soccer players and people and I can’t wait to be a part of it!”
