Ladies Impress at Vegas Showcase

Several Spokane Sounders girls teams visited Las Vegas recently for the Players Showcase and performed well, including the reigning USYS NW Conference champion 2001 Rave girls.

Spokane Sounders 2001 Rave finished unbeaten in their group at 3-0-1, downing Legends, Dallas Texans and Slammers FC ECNL before playing a second Slammers FC ECNL team, which also went 3-0-1, to a scoreless draw. The 2002 Rave side also won three matches in their group with victories over Heat FC ECNL, West Coast Soccer Warriors and Utah Avalanche to finish tied for first in the group. The 2004 Rave girls also picked up a pair of wins with a 2-1-1 record in their group.
