Shadow WFT Kicks Off June 1 at Whitworth

The reigning WPSL Northwest Conference champion Spokane Shadow return to action Sunday versus Vancouver Victory in their home opener at 3:00. All WPSL home matches are at Whitworth University.

The Shadow Women’s First Team schedule for 2025 will see them at home nearly the entire month of June with contests on the 1st, 7th, 8th and 14th before they hit the road for the rest of their campaign.

As the program expands the club is asking for $10 ticket donations at entry, but the games are still free to enjoy, providing quality soccer available for all to watch. Card readers will be available at the entry or you can pre-pay at the following link (SoccerStub), which also includes a full-season supporters option for $50.

The reserve squad playing in the Cascadia Premier League has a similar schedule with home games on the 5th*, 8th and 15th. The CPL home opener on June 5 will be played at the Polo Fields with the latter two also at Whitworth.

Last season the Shadow WFT completed its best finish in team history with a 6-1-1 record for the Northwest Conference and played host to the West Regional playoffs. They advanced to a National Quarterfinal (West Region Final), where they took storied WPSL side California Storm to penalties following a 2-2 draw before being eliminated by the eventual champions in the toughest contest they faced en route to raising the trophy.
