Shadow Staff for U13-U19 Announced for 2024-25

The Spokane Shadow are proud to announce the coaching staff for the Girls 2013-2015 squads for the upcoming 2024-25 season, presented by Girls Director of Coaching Kevin Moon.

The club is thrilled to present a staff that is loaded in experience, particularly from the college ranks, that will give players from the community the leading opportunity for growth and development toward their future aspirations. Seven teams in the Girls Academy (four) and Development Players League (three) feature coaches that are also currently collegiate coaches.

“As we continue to work to maintain our status as one of the top girl’s clubs in the Pacific Northwest we are excited about what the additions to our staff will bring. Cameron and Bryan will be excellent in their roles of GA and DPL Directors and we want to also welcome our DPL coaches and our one addition to the GA side. With fresh perspectives and energy from our directors along with our new, exceptionally experienced coaches I am really looking forward to watching our players continue to grow and enjoy this wonderful game.”

The GA staff features college coaches from U15 to U19 through DPL Director Bryan Hernandez (Gonzaga), Shadow Girls Coaching Director Kevin Moon (Whitworth) and GA Cameron Bushey (Whitworth) and the DPL staff features college coaches for its three oldest age groups via Chris McGaughey (Gonzaga), Christo Michaelson (Gonzaga) as well as via Hernandez, the DPL Director.

The staff also features a number of longtime coaches from the club managing DPL teams, including new U10-U12 Girls Director Ali McCready, Jason Bellefeuille, Brett Wanner, Dan Raczykowski and club Technical Director Abbas Faridnia. Among the features of the new staff list is the implementation of McCready and Hernandez coaching outside of their programs, providing a renewed emphasis on integrating them for improved player growth and movement between programs.

Tryouts for these age groups will begin May 20-23. G2012, G2013 and G2008 will be held May 20 & 21 with G2011 on May 21 & 22 and G2010 and G2009 on May 22 & 23.
