College Soccer on Horizon for Graduating Seniors
Friday, May 13, 2022
Another year, another amazing group of graduating seniors boasts an impressive array of college programs they will be joining in the fall. The Spokane Sounders are proud to share where the 2022 graduates will be headed.
In all 23 players will be joining college programs this year with all of the 2003/04 GA graduating players not only all receiving offers but committing to play in the fall.
And the list is quite impressive.
Kylie Stiles is headed down to California to play for college soccer powerhouse Santa Clara, coming off the heels of fellow alumni Kelsey Turnbow and Kelcie Hedge, who both recently graduated and are playing professionally in the NWSL.
Teammates Sammie Symmes and Livvy Moore will be rivals in Oregon with Moore donning the green and gold of the Ducks and Symmes repping the black and orange of Oregon State.
Also heading to Oregon are Carly Imes and Kaydence Martinez, who will be heading to Eastern Oregon. Joining them at EOU on the men’s side will be Garrett Heuett and Marcos Bravo.
The list of players from Sounders taking over the Seattle Pacific program continues to grow with Erika Frahm and Mercedes Cullen joining the Falcons.
Also joining rival schools will be Boise State bound Abbie Scott and Erin Ewers, who is headed to Colorado College with some Mountain West Conference showdowns in the future.
Not far from Scott will be College of Idaho bound McKenzie Lembcke while Sierrah VanGesen also heading to Idaho to join the Vandals down in Moscow.
Gracie Reidt and Aubrey Thomas will remain close to home playing for NWAC power CC Spokane while Abigail Morrow heads to Lewis & Clark College, meaning trips home to Spokane to face Whitworth.
Heading off to opposite coasts will be the California bound duo Zoe Crockett (Point Loma) and Evelyn Jurgens (Providence Christian) while Caitlin Schilbe is headed to Maine Maritime Academy.
On the boy’s side Wallace Sandobal and Timmy Jones will be heading to the midwest to play for St Mary’s of Minnesota and Wheaton College (Illinois).
