Three Days of Shadow Soccer

The Spokane Shadow First Teams have plenty of soccer on tap for this weekend with a game each day as the June home bonanza continues.

The action begins Friday evening as the Shadow U23s play host to regional rival Yakima United at the Polo Grounds at 6:00. The game ends a month-long break in their schedule as they look to get back into the hunt for the postseason following their idle stretch. The match is free admission.

On Saturday, the Shadow NPSL side plays host to NW Conference leader Crossfire Redmond at 1:00 at the Polo Grounds in a key contest for the postseason race. The match is free admission. In addition to the NPSL match, the Spokane Sounders (primarily 2002s) will be playing a special friendly beforehand at 11:00 versus the Crossfire DA 2003 side, which is preparing for the Development Academy National Playoffs.

The weekend concludes with the Shadow WPSL side returning to action after a week off. They play host to ISC Gunners at SFCC at 2:00 with free admission courtesy of Northern Capital Mangement in the first of three home games in eight days that will determine their postseason fate. The game, kickoff at 2:00, will feature the new Fun Zone with lots of prizes and free activities for fans to enjoy beginning an hour before the match.

A new feature at our women’s home games courtesy of Northern Capital Management, the Fun Zone is a party area near the main grandstand that is an area full of fantastic activities and opportunities to win prizes such as a slice of David’s Pizza, a Kona Ice treat, a Sounders Scarf, USA bracelets and much more! Activities include the Twigs Speed Shoot, drone juggling, air hockey, inflatables and the GameTruck with video games. And it is all FREE!!
